Yes, and it is the single most common reason an itinerary has to be rebuilt. The monument closes to visitors every Friday, so the Agra night has to fall such that the viewing lands on any other day. We check this before quoting rather than after.
Jaipur is the natural hinge. From there a program can continue into Rajasthan — Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer — or divert to Ranthambore for wildlife. Extending from the Jaipur end is far cleaner than doubling back through Delhi.
