Wellness & Ayurveda Overview
Designed for faster quoting, cleaner routing, and stronger on-ground delivery
Wellness is the one Indian product where the length of the stay is the product. Genuine Panchakarma is a course of treatment, not a spa visit, and a credible program runs two to three weeks; anything shorter should be sold honestly as rejuvenation rather than treatment. Kerala carries the Ayurveda half, and unusually its low season is the selling season — the monsoon months are traditionally considered the best time for treatment, which means good properties at soft rates while the rest of the country is unsellable. Rishikesh carries the yoga half, with ashram stays and teacher-training courses running to their own fixed calendars.
Hotel support
Dedicated Ayurveda resorts and classified centres in Kerala, ashram accommodation and hotels at Rishikesh, and retreat properties in the hills and Goa — chosen against whether the client wants clinical treatment or a wellness-flavoured holiday, which are genuinely different bookings.
Transfers and sightseeing
Arrival transfers timed to the consultation, light sightseeing scheduled around treatment hours rather than over them, and any leisure legs placed at the end so the course is not interrupted.

Agent Questions
What agents ask us about Wellness & Ayurveda
Straight answers from the desk that quotes and operates this destination.
How long does a real Ayurveda program need?
Fourteen to twenty-one nights for genuine Panchakarma, because it is a course of treatment with preparation and recovery phases either side. Seven-night stays are worth selling, but as rejuvenation therapy rather than treatment — being straight about that at quotation stage avoids a disappointed client at the centre.
Is the monsoon really the best time for Ayurveda?
Traditionally yes. The classical texts favour the rains for treatment, and Kerala centres run their strongest programs then, at rates well below peak season. It is a genuine wellness proposition rather than a discounted sightseeing one, and clients should be told sightseeing will be limited.
How do we compare Ayurveda centres?
Kerala Tourism classifies centres as Green Leaf or Olive Leaf against facilities and clinical standards, which gives a more reliable filter than star ratings. We quote the classification alongside the property so your client is comparing like with like.
